Nominated by designer Lotte van Laatum and commissioned by KF Hein Fund I made this flag to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their art committee.

Flag for KF Hein Fund

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the art committee of the KF Hein Fund I made a flag for their buildings empty flagpole, located at the Maliesingel in Utrecht, NL.

Every two months, another artist will make a flag. I am nominated by designer Lotte van Laatum to make the first flag for the months January and February.

Triptych for Utrecht CS

May 8, 2019
Commissioned by the Utrecht municipality I made a triptych about Sanctuaries, quiet area’s in the Dutch landscape. The work is part of Utrecht In Motion and will be on view at the brand new station square for a year after it’s opening today.

A selection from the series The Last Farmgirls will be on show in The Hague Museum of Photography. The series is part of the exhibition FARMING FOLK ‘Adventures in the Countryside’ which shows the agricultural life in Dutch photography from 1885 to the present.

Der Tod at PEER

The work Der Tod -which is also about beauty and seduction- will be on show at the new Peer Paper Platform in Amsterdam, situated in the Red Light District. Opening Sunday September 13 from 2 till 6 pm.

Der Tod und vier Madchen

Coming sunday Der Tod will have it’s premiere.

The work is a 40 minute presentation about transience. Der Tod is made especially for the performance of Schubert’s Der Tod und das Mädchen by the Syrene Saxophone Quartet. In the coming months the work will tour through the Netherlands alongside the saxophone quartet with their concert Der Tod und vier Madchen and will be on show on many different locations.

This book is filled with beautifully produced limited ediotions of books, magazines and music packaging. Including Radiohead, Alec Soth, Wassinklundgren, David Bowie, and the Sochi Project.
